Hi, I am Alex Banks!

I am a 20 year old CCI2* level eventer, horse-lover and photographer from Louisville, Kentucky. Through the amazing reach of social media, I have had the incredible opportunity to be chosen as an US Equestrian Ambassador. Because of this, I have been able to work as a photographer for US Equestrian the past few years at the Kentucky 3 Day Event in Lexington and was also featured along side my horse, Finn, in Sidelines Magazine.

Throughout my time riding and competing, I have also had a dedicated love for photography. My instagram account, @aebphotography_, has been around for almost 7 years and throughout that time has garnered quite the following. I've always taken photos at events and shows even when I wasn't competing. Basically speaking, as a competitive rider myself, I know the kinds of photos I would have died to have with my horse, be it competing or all the moments in between. These are the kinds of photos I try my best to deliver to my clients and friends. I want to give you the photos that mean the most. A horse show is more than the short moments in the rings and your riding career is more than basic horse show photos. Be it a Horse & Rider session or if you sign up to be a private client at a horse show, I am dedicated to providing the best possible images that deliver the true memories of those moments, the photos that I would want to have as a competitor myself. We love our horses and that love needs to be captured. I look forward to working with you!
